Psalm 1 Verse 3

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers or water……..”

While listening to a sermon at church, the pastor’s message was on positioning and being rightly located. One of his reference scripture was the above Psalm and verse. I was immediately inspired to paint this image. Acrylic on canvas 24×30.

Fall Colors Along the Concord River, Lowell MA

Whether it is a babbling brook, running river, roaring fall or the vast ocean, you will find me there with a camera. I am not sure what it is about a body of water I find so appealing, but whatever it is I am drawn to it. The images in the blog are places I have visited before at different times of the year, I wanted to go back and see the Fall colors, so glad I did. Wamesit Falls Overlook and Muldoon Park are in South Lowell great places to walk or just relax and enjoy the view.

A Walk along Vandenberg Esplanade‎, “The Boulevard”.

This was not planned ahead. My daughter found out at midnight she had to work early this morning. Hmm, I have to go along the boulevard to drop her off at work, I will take my camera, walk, then relax.
Nothing like an early morning stroll, not many people, and I can be alone with my thoughts.
Well there were a few people, still it was very relaxing!

Wamesit Falls Overlook

This location was my second trip for the morning.  I love this place, when I got home and showed the images to my son, his comment,” I had no idea this is in Lowell”. Take a ride down Lawrence Street in South Lowell park, walk around a bit and enjoy the view.

Drive By Snaps

I don’t always like driving, as the passenger I can quickly whip out my camera and get  a few candid  shots. I get more bad shots than good ones but  I really enjoy doing it.  Today my son picked me up after work,  I sat in the back seat and kept snapping.
