Fall Colors Along the Concord River, Lowell MA

Whether it is a babbling brook, running river, roaring fall or the vast ocean, you will find me there with a camera. I am not sure what it is about a body of water I find so appealing, but whatever it is I am drawn to it. The images in the blog are places I have visited before at different times of the year, I wanted to go back and see the Fall colors, so glad I did. Wamesit Falls Overlook and Muldoon Park are in South Lowell great places to walk or just relax and enjoy the view.

A Walk along Vandenberg Esplanade‎, “The Boulevard”.

This was not planned ahead. My daughter found out at midnight she had to work early this morning. Hmm, I have to go along the boulevard to drop her off at work, I will take my camera, walk, then relax.
Nothing like an early morning stroll, not many people, and I can be alone with my thoughts.
Well there were a few people, still it was very relaxing!

Fort Hill Park

Things don’t always go according to plan…so adjust. My daughter told me I am weird, because I just went to the park and sat there by myself. Honestly, I enjoy those moments. No one bothers me, and I just sit observing, clearing my head.
I love this location on Rogers Street in Lowell, even though it is on a busy stretch of road, there is a sense of calm just sitting there.
There were others while I was there but I just sat there and enjoyed the view. Then the smell of rain and sounds of thunder urged me to move on. I could not leave before one last shot of the hovering rain clouds.

My Dunkins Trip

So I took a trip to Dunkin Donuts to have my daily indulgence, large hot-chocolate with half french vanilla coffee, cream & sugar with corn or honey bran muffin. Living in Lowell I have a choice of several Dunkins but two of my favs is Rogers Street and the fairly new location at Dutton St. Today it was Dutton Street, placed my order then pulled around to the parking area and got out with my camera. It is truly a lovely location, the landscaping is improving daily and the backdrop of the canal  makes it inviting.  Now if only those bulky utility truck could be elsewhere!

Snapping in Dracut, MA

Yes, I was at it again today.  I wanted to get a few sunset, water shots, but I was a bit late.  I still did what I could, this location is behind the Dracut Sewer  Company.  I was also fortunate to get a grandpa and grandson fishing.
